A Business Major That Travels With You

Build a credential that opens doors here, back home, and anywhere your plans take you next.

The Business major at Goshen College is a four-year bachelors degree that prepares you for careers in marketing, finance, management, operations, and entrepreneurship. You take a shared core, choose one of four concentrations, learn it in small classes, and put it to work through internships, a student-run business, or a term of study abroad.

You learn business inside a liberal arts setting, which means you graduate able to think across fields, write clearly, and work with people who do not see the world the way you do. For any student weighing four years and real money, that is the point: a degree, real internships, and a professional network that still pays off after graduation. For international students, it also means sharper English and a credential that travels, whether you stay in the U.S. or take it home.

What This Program Is

  • 91%
Of classes have fewer than 30 students, so your voice is heard.
  • 83%
Percent of traditional undergrads employed, in grad school, or service by one year after graduation.
  • 50%
Of students study abroad through hands-on learning programs.

Built for You, Wherever You Come From

Small classes mean your professors know your name and your ideas matter from the first week. You build real relationships with local businesses and with the people sitting next to you, and you graduate ready to contribute on day one.

International students belong here as full members of the community, not enrollment numbers. Goshen welcomes students of every background, religious or not, and the admissions office walks international applicants through the I-20 and visa process.

If your world is closer to home, that fits too. Plenty of students stay near campus. You can belong here as fully yourself, and find your people while you do it.

Internships, Real Work, and Where Graduates Go

Hands-on experience sits at the core of the program. You learn through internships, entrepreneurial ventures, and student-managed businesses like Java Junction, the campus coffee shop.

Goshen business graduates work in marketing, human resources, management, finance, and operations, across business, banking, overseas development, church offices, nonprofits, and consulting. Many start their own businesses. To apply, start with Goshen College undergraduate admissions, or request information first if you are still deciding.

What It Costs, and the Aid Behind It

Scholarships make up a large portion of Goshen financial aid packages, which average almost $26,000 per student, not counting work-study or loans. Enrolled business students may also qualify for endowed awards including the Sauder Scholarship and the Gorsline Scholarship.

To see your own price after aid, run the net price calculator and talk with a real person in the financial aid office. There is also a money-saving next step: business majors can move into Goshen’s 4+1 MBA program, starting graduate coursework as seniors and finishing the Master of Business Administration in one extra year, and alumni receive a 10 percent tuition discount on graduate programs.
