The Entrepreneurship minor at Goshen College is an undergraduate minor that teaches you to turn ideas into real ventures, covering business planning, marketing, finance, and operations, plus the entrepreneurial mindset to lead. It’s open to students in any major, and you declare it with your academic advisor.
You might launch a startup, run a family business, or bring new thinking inside a larger organization. The minor pairs with almost any field, from art and computer science to agriculture and marketing. Hands on Learning with Java Junction
Java Junction is Goshen College’s student-run coffee bar, located in the Connector between the Kratz and Miller residence halls. It gives Entrepreneurship students a rare chance to run a real business while they’re still in school. Through the Java Junction Operations course, student managers take charge of marketing, purchasing, accounting, human resources, and daily operations, with a business faculty member on hand to advise them. The shop is self-sustaining and open to the whole campus and community, so the decisions students make carry real weight. For anyone wanting practical experience before graduation, it’s one of the best opportunities Goshen offers.

You’ll learn the whole arc, ideation, market research, business planning, risk management, and pitching to investors, and build a foundation in innovation, marketing, finance, and operations.
